Program Manager for Sustainability Initiatives

A dynamic role has become available in the Australian red meat industry for an experienced Program Manager to lead our Sustainability R&D team.

As a key member of our organization, you will develop strategies and deliver research, development, and adoption activities nationally for the sheep and beef industries.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in R&D program management involving beef cattle and sheep in feedlot and/or grazing systems, strong knowledge of statistics, experimental design, business case development, and opportunity assessment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for national research, development, and adoption activities.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including livestock producers, research providers, and government agencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with external organizations and ensure collaboration on shared goals.
