Program Manager Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced agriculture research professional to lead our Sustainability R&D team as a Program Manager – Sustainability R&D.

This role will provide valuable exposure to the operations of our business and external stakeholders, developing strategies for, and delivering research, development, and adoption activities nationally for the sheep and beef industries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver national R&D strategies and activities for sustainability in the sheep and beef sectors
  • Collaborate with livestock producers, research providers, and the innovation landscape
  • Position the Australian red meat industry as a world-leader in sustainability R&D

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in R&D program management involving beef cattle and sheep in feedlot and/or grazing systems, strong knowledge of statistics, experimental design, business case development, and opportunity assessment. They should also demonstrate achievement in delivering outcomes that benefit the sustainability and profitability of the industry.
