Pets are getting sick earlier in life, and their time with us is being cut short.
We take a preventative approach to pet care at our organization. We look at the full picture, factoring in the diet, lifestyle, and environment of each individual animal.
Our goal is to increase the lifespan of dogs and cats by creating personalized nutrition plans unique to each pet.
About the Role
This role involves building an insights engine that helps us make smarter, faster, more customer-grounded decisions every day.
You'll work closely with our strong data and analytics function and product design team to wrap the human context around quantitative data.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Designing and running qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to inform product decisions, marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and brand positioning.
- Leading research efforts across core (dogs), emerging (cats), and partnership (vets & breeders) verticals.
- Shaping understanding of new markets through structured frameworks such as Kano, pricing elasticity, and segmentation.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years experience in qualitative research, market research, user research, or consumer insights – ideally in high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product, brand, and marketing decisions through clear, well-communicated insights.
- Deep experience in qualitative methods (interviews, ethnography, diary studies) and survey design (NPS, brand, pricing, segmentation).
- Familiarity with frameworks like Kano, pricing sensitivity testing, or conjoint analysis.
