Greenhouse Gas Emission and Energy Management Specialist

This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week.

The role entails leading the development, delivery and continual improvement of greenhouse gas emission and energy management policies, processes and technologies to achieve Net Zero corporate and community emission reduction targets.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing business cases and technical specifications for energy management initiatives;
  • Managing electricity, energy, and emissions monitoring systems;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to improve energy efficiency across a portfolio of buildings, public lighting, street lighting, and renewable energy assets and procurement;
  • Providing data analysis and project management expertise to inform decision-making.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Expertise in developing business cases, technical specifications, and energy management strategies;
  • Proven track record in data analytics, project management, contract and risk management;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
