Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Engineer to join our team. As a SharePoint Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining a secure and scalable SharePoint Online environment.

This role is central to delivering a modern Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) that supports compliance, automation, and seamless collaboration. You will lead the technical implementation of site collections, metadata frameworks, automated workflows, and tenancy-level governance.

You will also play a key role in configuring Microsoft Purview policies, supporting data migration, and ensuring alignment with Victorian Government recordkeeping standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with deep technical expertise in SharePoint & Microsoft 365. You should have hands-on experience designing and configuring SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, metadata structures, and governance frameworks.

You should also be skilled in using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to build automated document flows and approval processes that streamline business operations.

Furthermore, you should have a compliance-focused mindset and experience implementing retention and disposition policies. You should also have led data migration projects using tools like Sharegate or Migration Manager, ensuring accuracy and alignment with compliance requirements.
