Job Summary:
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team for a 6-month contract opportunity. This role will involve providing technical advice and operational guidance on building and development compliance matters, ensuring adherence to legislative and public health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and conduct investigations into building and development compliance issues, including swimming pool fencing and safety regulations, sediment and erosion control, and land clearing.
- Issue statutory approvals in accordance with relevant legislative, policy, and business requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and investigations to resolve building and development compliance issues.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge and experience in investigation and compliance tasks related to building and development matters.
- Proven experience in delivering building and development compliance services, preferably in local government.
- Diploma in Planning, Building Surveying, or equivalent (Cert 4 in Government Investigations highly desired).
- General Induction Licence (White Card).
