Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Department on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assistance and support with compliance management systems, including investigating and analyzing breaches, providing compliance sign-off on marketing materials, and ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the organization.
This is a full-time opportunity based on a 38-hour working week, ideally located at our Townsville Head Office or Brisbane Admin Office.
About YouTo be eligible to apply for this position, you must demonstrate the following:
- A sound knowledge and understanding of financial services compliance obligations.
- Ability to gain an understanding of how to interpret compliance obligations and documentation.
- Ability to research information for the purposes of investigating cases, including but not limited to, reportable situations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Financial industry experience (desirable).
- Relevant university degree (desirable).
