About The RoleA Technical Specialist provides expert advice and guidance to ensure consistency in approach to factors impacting claims cost and assists in the development of technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical expertise and support to managers to facilitate strategic claims management decision making across all products
- Offer technical guidance and mentoring to support the growth and development of technical staff, ensuring they meet performance standards
- Provide consistent and high-quality advice and sign-off support to technical staff to ensure a uniform approach to factors impacting claims cost
- Analyze audit results (internal & external) and develop frameworks to enhance performance
- Analyze claims trends and provide recommendations to improve performance
- Extensive experience handling complex Workers Compensation claims, particularly supporting small business clients
- In-depth technical knowledge of personal injury claims and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration and building relationships with stakeholders
