Business Support Specialist Role

This is a pivotal opportunity to support the strategic and operational needs of a group by ensuring effective delivery of budgeting, resourcing, reporting and compliance.

  • The Business Support Specialist will partner with other teams to provide seamless, integrated and timely operational support.

About the Role:

  • Manage budgets, analyze variances and forecast future expenses.
  • Coordinate contributions to strategic and business planning processes, including performance reporting.
  • Assist with risk management by developing and maintaining a risk register and coordinating monthly risk meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by monitoring and updating processes and procedures.
  • Improve business processes through analysis and implementation of best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements.
  • Enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • A background in Law, Commerce, Business Management, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Experience in legal operations budgeting, financial reporting, resource planning, business planning, risk or compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to organize, analyze and disseminate financial information accurately.
  • Experience in implementing projects or business improvement initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
