Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Infrastructure Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering civil and mechanical design documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Australia.

The role involves leading design and drafting efforts across civil, mechanical, and structural disciplines, producing detailed process and mechanical design documentation, and collaborating with engineers to develop optimal designs for water projects and other infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Drafting: Lead the design and drafting of civil, mechanical, and structural aspects of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Documentation: Produce accurate and detailed design documentation, including process and mechanical designs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to ensure optimal design solutions for water projects and other infrastructure projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' industry experience using 12D or Civil3D and AutoCAD software.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with Sydney Water, Southeast QLD, South Australian, or other Australian Water Authority drafting standards.
  • Desirable Skills: Desirable experience using Inventor 3D, Revit, Plant 3D, and GIS capabilities.
