Job Title: Water Infrastructure Designer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Water Infrastructure Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil and mechanical design documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across New South Wales, Queensland, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and drafting process for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Produce detailed process and mechanical design documentation using AutoCAD and 12d Model or Civil3D, demonstrating expertise in water and sewerage design.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to develop optimal, cost-effective designs for major water projects and other infrastructure projects.
  • Apply your knowledge of advanced software tools to streamline drafting processes and ensure high-quality outputs.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in general civil design, particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • A strong foundation in water and sewerage design, including pipelines and pump stations, with a minimum of 5 years' industry experience using 12D or Civil3D, and AutoCAD in Australian infrastructure projects.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Sydney Water, Southeast QLD, South Australian, or other Australian Water Authority drafting standards.
