Senior Water Infrastructure Design Specialist

Tonkin is seeking a highly technical and experienced specialist to join their East Coast Water Team. This role plays a key part in delivering civil and mechanical design documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
The team utilises 12d model workflows and seeks a senior drafter or designer with expertise in civil, mechanical, and structural disciplines. A comparable user of Civil3D would also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead design and drafting efforts across multiple disciplines for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Produce detailed process and mechanical design documentation using AutoCAD and 12d Model or Civil3D.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to develop optimal, cost-effective designs for major water projects.
- Apply expertise in the design and detailing of water and wastewater infrastructure, pipelines, and pump stations.
- Extensive experience in general civil design, particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure.
- A strong foundation in water and sewerage design, including pipelines and pump stations, with a minimum of 5 years' industry experience using 12D or Civil3D, and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a collaborative environment.
