Senior Water Design Drafter

Our company is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to our vision of being Australia's leading infrastructure consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering civil and mechanical design documentation for infrastructure projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design and drafting efforts across civil, mechanical, and structural disciplines for water infrastructure projects.
  • Produce detailed process and mechanical design documentation using AutoCAD and 12d Model or Civil3D.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop cost-effective designs for major water projects.
  • Apply expertise in the design and detailing of water infrastructure, pipelines, and pump stations.
  • Utilise software tools to streamline drafting processes and ensure high-quality outputs.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • Extensive experience in general civil design, particularly in water infrastructure.
  • A strong foundation in water design, including pipelines and pump stations with at least 5 years' industry experience using 12D or Civil3D, and AutoCAD.
  • A desire to work on varied projects and technical elements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Australian Water Authority drafting standards.
