About the Role

This is a key opportunity for an experienced leader to spearhead the transformation of people and performance strategies.

As the successful candidate, you will drive positive employee experiences and relations to optimise outcomes for over 1400 people across the state.

You will be responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment services, overseeing learning and development programs and driving employee engagement initiatives to achieve optimal results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team to implement and troubleshoot processes and initiatives to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Providing consistent and accurate high-level advice, solutions and recommendations to managers on workforce management matters and issues.
  • Counselling, influencing and empowering managers to implement diverse range of workforce strategies including recruitment, performance development, succession planning and grievance procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in human resource management, organisational development or a related field, extensive experience in HR leadership roles including leading teams and strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
