Sustainable Noise Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with us in protecting and enhancing environmental health across the City.
Job Description- We are seeking a professional who will lead investigations into noise impacts from residential and commercial sources, assess development applications and event noise management plans, and provide expert guidance to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that support the sustainable regulation of unreasonable noise, assessing the impact of new developments on the community, and providing advice to stakeholders on how to manage noise-related issues.
Your work will directly contribute to shaping a healthier, more liveable urban environment through the creation and refinement of noise-related policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in science or engineering, relevant experience in environmental noise, and excellent communication skills.
Key Skills and Qualifications- A degree in Science or Engineering related to environmental noise;
- Relevant experience in environmental noise management;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently in regulatory and compliance environments.
You will need to be able to interpret scientific data, write reports, and present findings to stakeholders. If you have a passion for protecting the environment and working with the community, we want to hear from you.
