We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at Costco Wholesale.

As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse, including grounds, floors, and facilities. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, replacing bulbs, and repairing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including grounds, floors, and facilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, replacing bulbs, and repairing equipment
* Operate self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery and other equipment as needed
* Restock supplies and materials as needed
* Assist with front-end duties as necessary
* Assist in other departments of the warehouse as needed

Requirements

* 18 years of age
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks

* Assist with front-end duties as necessary
* Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary

Work Environment

* Work is performed in a warehouse environment
* May be required to work in a fast-paced environment
* May be required to work at heights

Physical Demands

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to walk and move around the warehouse

Supervisory Responsibilities

* None

Education and Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repair

Work Schedule

* Full-time and part-time positions available
* Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 5am or finishing as late as 11pm

Language Skills

* English (required)

Other Requirements

* Must be 18 years of age
