Job Description:

As a key member of our Global Merchant Lending Team, you will play a vital role in empowering business owners by providing them with lending solutions to help them reach their greatest potential. This involves engaging with business owners, solving problems, and closing deals in a fast-paced environment with confidence.

Your Impact:

Facilitate loans in PayPal's growing merchant lending market, creating exceptional relationships with business owners who need additional capital to grow their businesses. Build rapport, develop trust, and understand borrowing needs to deliver a world-class customer experience.

In Your Day-to-Day Role:

  • Actively engage business owners interested in funding for their businesses.
  • Build relationships with business owners by establishing rapport and developing trust.
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns, demonstrating empathy while overcoming objections.
  • Closing deals with high customer satisfaction.
  • Handle high daily call volumes to meet and exceed sales revenue and quality goals.
  • Provide feedback to Sales leaders and Marketing teams on merchant feedback.
  • Learn and adapt to local competitive landscapes.
  • Utilize Salesforce to log, track, and maintain customer records.
  • Embody PayPal's Culture and Values.

What You Need to Bring:

  • Prior experience in sales, account management, or inside sales within a B2B environment.
  • Superb interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Competitive nature with strong passion and work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Quality-oriented with working knowledge of the internet, e-commerce, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills to enable positive interaction with business owners.
  • Proven experience adapting to a constantly changing environment.
