Job Description:

We are partnering with a multinational freight forwarder and logistics provider to provide seamless solutions to support business objectives.

As part of the Import Customer Service team in Melbourne, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide client-focused solutions. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating tasks on shipments to meet customer SOP requirements, collaborating with international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service, and building great relationships with customers by responding timely and following up on issue resolution.

The Role:

  • Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer requirements: booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
  • Collaborate with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service and creative problem resolution.
  • Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution

Key Requirements:

  • High school certificate
  • Minimum of 1 year of Global Freight Forwarding experience
  • Proven track record of strong customer service skills, interacting with customers and being client focused
  • Excellent follow-up with customers and the network
