Job Overview:

As a Strategic Asset Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of energy infrastructure. This high-impact position requires a strategic thinker with a vision for transformative asset management.

  • Develop optimized solutions across the asset lifecycle, leveraging commercial and technical expertise.
  • Lead network inputs into contestable bids, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver value-driven outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance while balancing asset risk, cost, and performance.
  • Drive innovation in cost estimating, incorporating macroeconomic and market trends.
  • Manage upstream contracts for operational projects, ensuring seamless execution.

You will work closely with senior leaders, project teams, and asset managers to shape the future of energy infrastructure.

Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Economics or equivalent.
  • Experience in relevant infrastructure investment and portfolio management roles.
  • Experience in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line, technical and commercial roles across the asset lifecycle, including concept development, design, construction, operations and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying risk management principles to support asset management decision making and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures applicable to asset management of transmission infrastructure.
  • Awareness of NEM development, including AEMO's ISP and NSW EII Roadmap.
  • Familiarity with the NER and NSW Regulatory Frameworks.
