A specialist psychiatrist position is currently available at a Northern QLD hospital, offering part-time roles in community settings.
Staff Specialist - General Adult Community- Work in one of five inpatient teams supported by registrar, RMO and interns, with varying levels of acuity.
- Care for patients under forensic orders and treatment authorities, among others.
- Join a brand-new facility with one of five inpatient teams, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Each team has dedicated support from registrars, RMOs, and interns, including one team focusing on PICU care.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring comprehensive assessments and effective treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health programs, promoting best practices and positive outcomes.
