The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia is seeking a Senior Mental Health Clinician to provide community-based mental health support and well-being services across Far North Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver client-centered psychological therapies to individuals with mild to moderate mental health needs, promoting improved mental health outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive holistic clinical assessments, providing evidence-based interventions to support clients' recovery and growth.
Qualification in Psychology, Social Work (AASW-accredited), Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing is required. AHPRA registration or AASW membership is also necessary.
- Post-graduate experience as a senior clinician with five years in a relevant clinical field is highly valued.
- This full-time role is based in Cairns with FIFO travel to the Cape York Peninsula.
- A typical schedule includes Monday to Thursday workdays and an admin day every second week at the RFDS Cairns Base.
