Precinct Operations and Maintenance Manager

The role of Precinct Operations and Maintenance Manager is pivotal to the success of our operations in Exmouth, Western Australia. As the Principal Contractor for the Naval Communications Station Harold E Holt, we provide critical defence infrastructure services including the Space Surveillance Telescope, Very Low Frequency (VLF) Communications Transmitter and C-Band Radar Tracking Radar.

As a leader, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating our supporting base facilities as well as emergency response capability. You will lead an expert team to achieve exceptional results by setting a clear vision, building a comprehensive plan and fostering a strong and safe team culture that delivers innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and collaborate within a cross-functional environment to manage budget, resources, reporting and deliverables.
  • Maintain Quality & EH&S standards aligned with company policies.
  • Manage financial aspects, including Control Account Manager responsibilities.
  • Foster effective stakeholder relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience supervising a team consisting of various trade professions.
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance management with a technical/trade background required.
  • Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics or Engineering required.
  • Diploma in Leadership & Management or equivalent required.
  • Minimum four years prior relevant experience.
