About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Centre Design Professional to join our team at Cdc Data Centres. This exciting opportunity will see you play a vital role in shaping the future of data centre design.

Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for leading the design process and collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and practical solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing A&E consultants during design phases to ensure timely production of technical drawings and documentation.
  • Motivating internal and external design teams to meet deadlines and produce high-quality documentation.
  • Overseeing third-party vendors and contractors across multiple design projects to ensure coordination.
  • Collaborating with Customer teams to align expectations and meet project requirements.
  • Reviewing designs with stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes and reduce risks.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong design, engineering, and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. You will also need to have experience working in a design management capacity, preferably within the building, civil, or structural architecture industries. In addition, you must possess a strong understanding of the Building permit / consenting process and be able to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.
