Key Responsibilities
The Lead Service Technician will oversee daily maintenance activities, managing efforts between technicians and contractors.
This role includes responding to system alerts, determining if escalations are necessary, and ensuring inspections are conducted to maintain infrastructure integrity.
The Lead Service Technician will ensure contractor access is properly supervised, processes and safety standards are followed, and accurate reporting is maintained during routine and critical activities.
Priorities and Key Accountabilities:
- Manage preventative maintenance activities, including change management and compliance with policies and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-start meetings with contractors, manage shift rosters and communicate work tasks.
- Oversee production and approval of SOPs, MOPs and EOPs, mentoring Service Technicians for continuous improvement.
- Manage maintenance activities, ensuring completion of planned tasks and updating CMMS systems.
About You
We seek a leader with experience in overseeing day-to-day operations of Data Centres or similar facilities.
This position offers a clear path for career advancement into a more senior role.
Essential Qualifications:
- Trade or Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire).
- Prior experience operating Building Management Systems or Energy Management Systems.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
