Logistics Operations Manager

This role is focused on leading the logistics operations team and ensuring seamless service delivery for valued clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, managing staff, and collaborating across departments to deliver operational excellence.

About the Role:
  • The Logistics Operations Manager will lead a team of professionals in achieving operational goals and driving performance to meet financial and service targets.
  • They will ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards and develop and maintain operational procedures and protocols.
  • The role also involves supervising daily warehouse and logistics operations or leading and supporting warehouse staff, including training and performance monitoring.
  • Strong relationships with customers and internal service groups are essential for this position.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics operations.
  • Understanding of OH&S and relevant legislation.
