Logistics Operations Manager

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead logistics operations. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of logistics, including supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation coordination.

The primary objective is to ensure that all logistical activities are executed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Inventory Control: Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and obsolescence.
  • Transportation Coordination: Arrange for the movement of goods, materials, and equipment between locations, utilizing various modes of transportation as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a strong background in leadership and team management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
