About the Role

We're seeking a Mortgage Credit Specialist to join our team at the Albury branch. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing pipelines of lending leads and nurturing them throughout their buying journey. You'll use your credit analysis skills to make sound credit decisions for our customers and for the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with customers and build rapport quickly to understand their needs and financial goals.
  • Assess customer situations holistically and develop a deep understanding of their creditworthiness.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending products, policies, and regulations to provide expert advice.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services to customers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive experience in customer service or sales, preferably in consumer lending.
  • A high level of understanding of lending products, policies, and regulations.
  • An ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Highly developed credit analysis skills to assess customer creditworthiness.
  • Sound knowledge of small business offerings and consumer lending.
