About the Role:

  • Oversee mortgage lending files from instruction to settlement and registration of security.
  • Draft loan documentation under solicitor supervision.
  • Prepare documents in Docusign and create PEXA matters.
  • Liaise with clients, banks, brokers, borrowers, and relevant government offices.
  • Work closely with the accounts team regarding trust monies and billing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and contribute to high-quality legal service delivery.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have previous mortgage clerk experience, ideally in a similar role, with a solid understanding of both residential and commercial property securities. They should have high attention to detail, be able to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team. Familiarity with PEXA and knowledge of Victorian and Interstate securities are essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to client service.
