The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Channel Manager to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage channel management team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our broker channel, including sourcing, onboarding, accreditation, and day-to-day guidance.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Sourcing and onboarding new broker partners.
  • Supporting brokers with loan applications and acting as a connection between broker and internal credit assessment and lending operation teams.
  • Ongoing development of broker processes and policies.
  • Cooking and supporting brokers to optimise relevant BankVic products and offers.
  • Cooking and supporting BankVic staff with the integration of the broker channel.
  • Preparing and providing accurate and timely statistical reporting information.
  • Participating positively and constructively in regular meetings and projects across BankVic.
  • This role will require interstate travel and out-of-hours work supporting business development opportunities, Broker and Industry events, and conferences.

You'll Be Perfect For This Role If:

  • You have extensive networks and established relationships within the broker channel.
  • You have experience reviewing and providing structural advice and guidance on credit policy and loan applications.
  • You possess strong credit assessment skills to assist brokers with complex assessments, escalations, and coaching.
  • You're a strong collaborator with a strength for building internal and external relationships and delivering results for stakeholders.
  • RG146 Tier 2 certification is a must.
  • A degree-level qualification or higher in a financial discipline (or equivalent experience) is also essential.
  • You're organised, know how to prioritise, and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership experience within financial services would be highly regarded.
