Job Title: Import Logistics Coordinator

 

Job Description:

The Import Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth importation of goods. This involves processing import manifests, generating timely arrival notices, and ensuring the swift release of cargo upon clearance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently process import manifests
  • Generate arrival notices to ensure timely communication with clients
  • Invoice freight and local charges, and facilitate prompt collection
  • Arrange the release of cargo upon clearance

 

Requirements:

This role requires exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including clients and industry professionals. Additionally, the ability to foresee and prevent potential issues arising from shipping procedures is crucial.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction
  • Ability to anticipate and mitigate shipping-related problems
  • Strong personal organization and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Reliability and self-motivation to work independently
  • Good understanding of shipping procedures and documentation
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills

 

Working Conditions:

This position offers flexible work arrangements, including the possibility of working from home if needed. The primary location is Artarmon on Sydney's north shore or one of our other offices in Brisbane, Fremantle, or Melbourne, with some attendance at Artarmon required initially.
