Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Coordinator to lead our hospitality operations at East Fremantle Community Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the community by delivering exceptional events and providing outstanding customer service.


The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing functions and events with a focus on seamless delivery and client satisfaction. They will work closely with our marketing team to promote the venue and develop sales strategies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate functions and events including weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings
  • Develop and implement event strategies to drive revenue growth and increase client engagement
  • Manage event budgets, control costs and ensure profitability of the events unit
  • Collaborate with kitchen, bar and operations teams to deliver exceptional service
  • Oversee booking systems, update procedures and support front-of-house as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in event coordination within hospitality
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality or event management
  • Strong knowledge of F&B service, event logistics and venue operations
  • Experience managing event budgets, pricing and profitability
  • Proficiency with hospitality management systems
  • Proven client engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Strong leadership and organisational abilities to lead a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a high-volume setting
