Functions and Events Manager

We are seeking an ambitious Functions and Events Manager to drive sales growth and enhance our customer experience.

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase demand for functions and events, focusing on corporate and personal events.
  • Farm new corporate business leads in the surrounding areas and collaborate with the marketing team to reach out to potential clients.
  • Work closely with operations and marketing teams to strategize campaigns and activations that drive new business.
  • Cold call and meet potential corporate clients to raise awareness of functions at Flour Child.
  • Build and develop a customer database for events and functions.
  • Convert function and event enquiries, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and exceeded.
  • Manage and execute all events collaboratively with the operations team.
  • Generate quotes, contracts, and invoices as required.
  • Oversee systems and/or CRM's used for event management and database management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales and Events within the industry.
  • Outgoing and confident personality with a natural flair for building rapport.
  • Strong negotiator with a focus on conversions and closing deals.
  • Pro-active, organised, and innovative in their approach to achieve results.
  • Flexible in attitude and work hours.
  • Creative and strategic thinker.
  • Natural ability to work effectively under pressure.
