Library Officer Position

Develop a rewarding career as a Library Officer, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and leading the development of community-facing programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain library resources and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support daily library operations and contribute to the planning and delivery of community programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to diverse community members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a library or closely related setting.
  • Certificate IV in Library and Information Services (or willingness to obtain).
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
  • A NSW Class C Driver's Licence for branch delivery and outreach work.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Libero Library Management System.
  • Background in program design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Previous leadership or team coordination experience.
  • Familiarity with grant funding, reporting, and acquittals.

Benefits:

  • Salary range of $70,000 – $80,500 p.a. + 12% Super.
