Commercial Opportunity

This role presents an exciting chance to spearhead commercial growth, drive new opportunities, and deliver results. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the tendering function, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving long-term growth across various categories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial opportunities across government, education, and enterprise sectors
  • Develop and lead the tendering capability from the ground up
  • Coordinate the preparation of responses for RFQs, RFPs, and other tender formats
  • Design pricing models and commercial strategies aligned with business profitability targets
  • Ensure all responses meet compliance, legal, and submission requirements
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders to drive repeat business and customer advocacy
  • Manage internal workflows and documentation to support timely and accurate submissions
  • Track tender and sales outcomes, report on performance, and implement improvements to increase win rates

This is a hands-on role that would suit a driven self-starter with strong commercial acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and the energy to thrive in fast-moving procurement environments.

Requirements:
  • University degree qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business or similar)
  • Experienced in commercial sales, business development, or account management, with a proven ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Strong understanding of government and B2B procurement processes, with hands-on tendering experience preferred
  • Skilled in preparing and coordinating high-quality tender responses, ensuring compliance with legal, technical, and submission requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence decision-makers
