Key Commercial Position:
We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Manager to join our team. This role is instrumental in driving business growth, fostering customer relationships, and delivering commercial excellence.
Role Overview:
This senior leadership position involves providing strategic commercial guidance to key stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of service delivery and contractual obligations. The successful candidate will possess exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to drive efficiency and accuracy in CRM and planning tools.
Responsibilities:
- Optimise Staff Utilisation: Maintain accurate staff utilisation of CRM and planning tools, streamlining processes for maximum performance.
- Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with Sales Division managers & BDMs to deeply understand market dynamics, forging connections with potential and existing customers.
- Nurturing Customer Relationships: Cultivate and nurture robust customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maximising Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue commercial opportunities to expand business capacity and enhance profitability.
- Contract Strategies: Develop and implement insightful contract strategies that maximise profitability and efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Leading Negotiations: Take the lead in commercial negotiations with suppliers and service providers, showcasing exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- High-Level Support: Provide high-level commercial support, contributing significantly to the company's success.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Extensive Commercial Experience: Significant experience in a commercial capacity, ideally within construction or manufacturing sectors, managing major customer and stakeholder accounts.
- Resilience and Adaptability: Proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances, maintain composure under pressure, and face various challenges and opportunities.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, influencing and building relationships with staff, peers, and external stakeholders effectively.
- Leadership and Cultural Change: Demonstrated track record of driving growth and fostering cultural change within organisations, strategic thinking, and planning.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: University degree or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and minimum 5 years' experience in a Sales & Marketing Leadership role.
- Prior Pool Heating Experience: Prior experience in the pool heating industry is desired, with a deep understanding of pool heating solutions, technologies, and industry trends.
- Tender Process Experience: Experience dealing with government bodies and councils in tender processes is highly valued, navigating complexities of government contracts and tender submissions.
- Strong Negotiation Skills & Stakeholder Management: Sound prospecting, negotiating, and closing skills, managing stakeholder relationships crucial in driving the company's success.
- Driver's License: Current Driver's License required for travel and supporting business development activities.
