Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial professional to join our team as a Director, Financial Control and Compliance.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of financial control, governance, and compliance strategies across our organisation. You will work closely with assurance functions and external bodies to ensure effective risk management and compliance.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial advice to senior leaders, influencing policy stances across the sector, and ensuring accounting transactions comply with relevant standards and guidance.

You will have significant experience in multi-faceted financial/statutory accounting in a large/complex organisation, including planning and managing statutory audits, developing and implementing internal financial control frameworks, and ensuring local and international tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial control, governance, and compliance strategies
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior leaders and influence policy stances
  • Ensure accounting transactions comply with relevant standards and guidance
  • Manage statutory audits and develop internal financial control frameworks
  • Oversee financial reporting, governance, risk management, tax compliance, and process optimisation
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification and CA or CPA designation
  • Significant experience in financial/statutory accounting and audit
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing internal financial control frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
