Job Overview

The role of Chief Financial Officer involves leading the finance function to meet organisational demands and contribute to the department's overall strategy.

You will report to a Deputy Commissioner, Strategy and Corporate Services, and be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities include developing financial management capability, establishing consistent systems and processes, and providing corporate governance oversight for procurement services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Mandatory qualifications include being a certified practising accountant or holding an equivalent qualification from an overseas accounting body recognised by at least two professional organisations.

Highly desirable requirements include proven experience in financial management and procurement in a large, complex organisation.
