Job Summary:

The primary objective of the Payroll Compliance Analyst is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll processes by monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards. This role involves conducting audits, analysing payroll data, identifying discrepancies, and providing recommendations for improvements.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will stay informed on relevant legislation, support the implementation of compliance policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and ensure accurate payroll reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and audit payroll processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies.
  • Analyse payroll data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders to align payroll compliance processes and ensure seamless communication and implementation.
  • Support the development and implementation of payroll compliance policies and procedures.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Experience within Payroll Accounting, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, laws, and regulations.
  • Technical skills and software experience, including proficiency in payroll software.
  • Experience with audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in payroll reporting and compliance documentation.
  • Skilled at identifying and mitigating payroll risks and issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
