We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to support our Head of Payroll and Payroll Team Leader in ensuring seamless operations across the payroll function.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, refine, and roll out both existing and new payroll processes, adhering to compliance and legislative requirements.
- Deliver a professional and responsive payroll service to the business, meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles, including End-of-Month activities.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers, fostering improvement opportunities.
- Conduct testing for necessary upgrades or system patches, and assist in establishing robust payroll processes.
- A Business or Payroll Administration qualification would be advantageous.
- Credible End-to-End payroll processing experience in large, complex, and high-volume environments.
- Previous experience in Chris21 (iChris) system.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of Industrial Awards/Enterprise Agreements.
- Advanced proficiency in use of Excel.
- Demonstrated initiative-taker with capability to take ownership of tasks.
- A team player with a positive and energetic outlook.
- Demonstrated experience working within the following systems: Google, Kronos/Dimensions (UKG), ServiceNow, SuccessFactors.
