As a key member of our People and Culture Division, you will play a crucial role in shaping our safety culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and wellbeing legislation, and leading initiatives that foster a safe, healthy, and high-performing workplace.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive salary package including $143,000 - $151,000 + super. If you are passionate about creating a sustainable safety culture and have expertise in delivering and managing HSW programs, we want to hear from you

  • Lead HSW Strategy: Oversee and implement strategic workplace health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW) programs.
  • Drive Cultural Change: Foster a sustainable safety culture by engaging with leaders and staff across all offices.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer strategic and operational HSW guidance to senior leaders, managers, and committees.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Workcover and Work Health and Safety Queensland.
  • Manage Projects: Lead HSW projects, maintain a compliant Safety Management System, and introduce proactive risk management strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in delivering and managing HSW programs, including psychosocial and physical risk management.
  • Expertise in data analysis, risk assessment, and implementing creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills to influence and drive positive outcomes.
