Job Title: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead
">About the Role:
">We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead to lead the implementation of health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives and drive a strong safety culture within our organisation.
">- Duration: 6 months + possible extension in a dynamic role
- Location: Redland City region
Primary Purpose:
">This role involves developing and managing contemporary HSW systems to support operational objectives. Key responsibilities include implementing risk management strategies, enhancing organisational safety performance, and promoting a proactive approach to HSW practices.
">- Risk Management: Develop and implement processes to address and manage critical HSW risks.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct inspections, audits, and evaluations to assess and improve HSW performance.
- Systems Implementation: Lead the deployment and maintenance of HSW management systems and supporting documentation.
- Leadership and Culture: Provide expert advice to leaders and staff, fostering a culture of safety excellence.
- Training and Knowledge: Develop and deliver HSW training and support the organisation in understanding compliance requirements.
Selection Criteria:
">- Strong knowledge of HSW risk management processes, systems, and compliance.
- Proven experience in conducting inspections, audits, and data analysis for performance improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement HSW initiatives in complex operational environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Up-to-date understanding of WHS legislation and best practices.
Mandatory Requirement:
">- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within a large organisation.
- C Class Driver's Licence.
Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience
