We are seeking an analytical and strategic professional to join us in delivering innovative energy solutions and ambition to provide cost-effective, green power for communities and businesses.

  • Compile, analyse, and interpret market curves, spot pricing trends, and broader pricing dynamics within Australia's wholesale and renewable electricity markets.
  • Gather, synthesise, and present market intelligence by integrating supply-demand fundamentals, regulatory developments, and emerging energy technologies.
  • Build robust financial and valuation models (including for PPA contracts) to inform commercial strategy, support investment cases, and optimise returns.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and informed decision-making across projects and contract structuring.
  • Contribute to strategic pricing of PPA contracts by integrating economic, technical, and regulatory market data.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and reporting obligations as part of market operations and broader asset management.
  • Proactively research market developments, competitor activity, and policy shifts influencing renewable project viability and financial outcomes.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced financial modelling (Excel, Python, or R), data analysis, and market forecasting.
  • Experience with PPA structures, NEM dynamics, and renewable asset valuations.
  • Knowledge of pricing structures, energy policy, market regulation, and risk assessment in the Australian context.
  • Familiarity with market simulation tools (e.g., PLEXOS, Aurora) and energy data visualisation (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of renewable technologies (wind, solar, storage) and their commercial value streams.
