Renewable Energy Engineer Role

We're seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a professional with expertise in renewable energy systems, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage (BESS).

You'll work collaboratively with our team to deliver projects from feasibility through to commissioning, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership on project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Project Delivery: Plan, track, and deliver projects or sub-tasks to meet business objectives, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and commercial growth, sharing insights and best practices across the team.
  • Mentorship and Training: Actively mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge, promoting career development and growth within the organization.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Subject Matter Expert in at least one renewable energy area (solar, wind, BESS), with a broad understanding of related systems.
  • Broad Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and peers through clear, timely communication.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, with experience in leading small project teams or disciplines within larger projects.
