Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing subsea systems, with a strong focus on project execution and delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying 3D parametric models of subsea system components, including jumpers, PLETs, PLEMs, manifolds, etc. They will also be required to create and modify drawing deliverables for concept, FEED, and detailed design as required by projects.

The role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively plan and execute drafting support for assigned projects. The successful candidate will also engage with project personnel to deliver drawings on schedule and within defined budgets.

In addition, the successful candidate will participate in project/discipline meetings and workshops, provide input to continuous improvement initiatives, and share lessons learned with the design team and project teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • 8+ years recent relevant experience in the subsea sector;
  • 8+ years structural/mechanical design experience; preferably subsea design for manifolds, PLEMs, jumpers, or experience designing rigid risers, tie-in spools, riser clamps;
  • Strong communication skills with effective written and verbal abilities;
  • Self-motivated, technically curious, requiring minimal supervision;
  • Ability to manage time to meet deliverables and work well in a team environment;
