Highly Skilled Security Contract Manager Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Contract Manager to join our team at Flexhive in Melbourne CBD.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in contract management, procurement, and security operations to lead our Office Building Security function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to the department's Security team on the management of existing security services Purchase Order Contracts (POCs).
Key Responsibilities:- Providing oversight, governance, and support to the Security team on POC administration, advisory, negotiations, and management activities to ensure sound governance and smooth business processes.
- Leading the Security function uplift program to improve delivery processes, undertake POC administration, and contribute to the identification and implementation of solutions to complex problems or issues.
- Managing the procurement process for future retendering of security services under the State Purchase Contract (SPC), including drafting tender documents and liaising closely with the Procurement team.
- Coordinating the procurement and maintenance of out-of-scope security service items, including x-ray machines, and managing related issues such as licencing and warranties.
- Contributing to the monitoring of internal contract management systems and processes to ensure compliance across the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and master supplier contract management, including proven ability to interpret complex contract documents and legislative requirements.
- Able to influence and resolve commercial issues through negotiations with multiple stakeholders to achieve improved outcomes.
- Experience in successfully driving supplier performance, ideally in an operations delivery environment or security function.
- Strong knowledge of contract management frameworks and ability to engage, advise, and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in Contract Management, Facilities Management, or Procurement, or significant experience in a similar role.
- Competitive salary of $73 - $83 per hour plus superannuation dependent on experience.
- Assignment duration of up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.
- Melbourne CBD location with easy access to public transport.
