We are Australia's first social enterprise to operate within the security industry, committed to providing ethical security services while creating pathways to employment for those from disadvantage. Our goal is to establish contracts across a range of sectors, including government and commercial, that offer full-time sustainable employment opportunities.
SOS Security offers a range of security services, including Construction Site Security, Mobile Patrols, and Event Risk Management.
Job Overview :
This senior security role is responsible for monitoring, advising, and overseeing operational procedures on a 7-day rotation, including overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of security operations, effective leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Effective communication with employees and clients
- Liaising with onsite clients and building relationships
- Managing employee-related matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Providing guidance and advice to security staff
- Collecting and recording data from operational aspects, such as staff welfare checks and incident reports
Requirements :
- Customer service experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong report writing skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Exceptional work attendance
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and asset protection
- A current and valid Security License
- Advanced computer literacy
Estimated Salary Range : AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum
