Business Development Manager

At Newcastle Weekly, we're looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of identifying new opportunities and fostering strong relationships with clients of all sizes.
This is your chance to work closely with diverse businesses, helping them achieve their marketing goals across a variety of media channels. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Seeking out and pursuing new business opportunities via networking, referrals and occasional cold calling.
- Presenting customised advertising solutions that align with clients' marketing objectives.
- Consistently exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
We're looking for someone with previous experience in sales, ideally within the media, advertising, or marketing sectors. However, we're open to candidates from other industries with transferable skills. You'll need excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, as well as a results-oriented approach with a strong drive for success.
