Senior Civil Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering designs and projects.

  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders as necessary;
  • Ensure successful project delivery;
  • Produce, review and check designs in accordance with relevant design standards and codes;
  • Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings under limited supervision;
  • Provide civil engineering design services to clients as necessary;
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment;
  • Prepare project briefs, scopes of work and fees;
  • Mentor junior team members.

You will have experience in:

  • Civil engineering degree;
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience;
  • A self-motivated, technically competent individual able to work independently but also comfortable in a team environment;
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills;
  • Familiarity with road design in accordance with Austroads and best practice;
  • Geometric design and pavement engineering;
  • Experience with DRAINS, MUSIC, Autocad and Autotrack software is highly desired.
