Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to manage civil engineering project delivery across the region. This full-time position involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and of high quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning and coordination of civil engineering projects
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to manage project scope, timelines and budgets
  • Prepare and review contracts, technical specifications and other project documentation
  • Support tender preparation, RFTs and subcontractor engagement
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing control measures
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management team
  • Develop and implement Project Safety Plans, Construction Environmental Management Plans and quality documentation including Inspection Test Plans
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years' experience as a Civil Project Engineer or similar role
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with critical thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in project management software and engineering design tools
  • Experience in contract administration and project budget management
  • Familiarity with local and national construction regulations and guidelines
