Compassionate Aged Care Personal Carer Needed

We are seeking dedicated and caring individuals to provide vital support to our clients in Gympie and surrounding areas.

This is a highly rewarding role where you will empower our clients to live more independently and achieve their personal goals by assisting with daily living activities, fostering dignity, respect, and a person-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene: showering, dressing, grooming
  • Supporting mobility and transfers: using aids and equipment
  • Facilitating community participation and social inclusion: attending appointments, social outings
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records

Certificates and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Disability (essential)

Requirements:

  • Australian Business Number (ABN): operating as an independent contractor
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport: essential for community access
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate: willingness to obtain
  • Police Check and Working with Children check: essential
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance: essential for working with NDIS participants
  • Public Liability Insurance: necessary for all independent contractors
